Louisa Jokia joins the Rural Democracy Trust as a Program Officer on the EU co -funded “Sophakama Project,” responsible for implementation in Mpumalanga.

She is a process facilitator with a strong background in research and stakeholder engagement. Louisa is a proud alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Centre-Southern Africa (YALI RLC-SA). This underscores her dedication to continuous learning and her role as a leader in fostering development within the Southern African region. Louisa holds a BA (Hons) in Public Management and Governance and an MCom (Local Economic Development) from the University of Johannesburg.
